Hyderabad, Sept 27 (Maxim News): Floodwater is entering the MGBS bus stand on the banks of the Musi Udhruthiki river in large quantities. The situation has been dire since Friday midnight. The flood water is not receding. Flood water is already flowing over the MGBS bridge. Water floating is increasing more and more. Due to this, the alert officials have completely stopped the movement of people at the bus stand. Buses on the respective routes have been stopped from outside.
The authorities have already moved all the buses at the bus stand. Buses have been arranged for the passengers from outside. Passengers are facing severe difficulties due to flood water. Meanwhile, water started flowing into the bus stand from Friday night. Hundreds of passengers were trapped at the bus stand. They were shaken in fear for hours. As soon as the matter came to light, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy alerted the officials. He ordered the police, Hydra and GHMC officials to immediately bring the passengers out.
The officials who reached the spot brought out the passengers who were stuck in the water with great difficulty. The main reason for the MGBS getting stuck in the flood water was the flood water flowing into Musi. For the first time in 30 years, 38.50 cusecs of flood water entered Musi. Musi is flowing from the Moosarambagh and Chaderghat bridges. This has brought traffic to a standstill. Meanwhile, 200 houses in Moosanagar near Chaderghat were submerged in the flood. People came out of their houses on the road holding their belongings and wearing bandages.
