Hyderabad, Mar 21 (Maxim News): The teams of the Commissioner of Food Safety, who conducted inspections at Yashoda Dairy Products, Jeedimetla, Quthbullapur, have reported multiple violations at the facility under the Food Safety and Standards Act.
The inspecting teams reported house fly infestation, non-availability of records related to pest control, employee health, water and food analysis. The facility has several openings to the outside environment and is not fitted with insect-proof meshes, flooring was found to be wet and patchy with stagnation of water and no proper drains.
The employees were wearing hairnets but were found to be handling the food articles with bare hands, the inspecting teams observed.
Few food articles like milk powder were found to be kept on the ground instead of pallets and the cold room was not maintained in a clean condition. The FSSAI license was not displayed prominently on the premises and the records of temperature monitoring for the cold room were not available, the inspecting teams reported. (Maxim News)
