Hyderabad, April 22: Nadendla Bhaskar Rao passed away at 90 while undergoing treatment at a private hospital after prolonged illness.
He was born on June 23, 1935 in Guntur. Moreover, he began his political career as an MLA in 1978 from Vijayawada East.

Bhaskar Rao served as MLA from 1978 to 1989. During this period, he played an active role in state politics.
He served as Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh from August 16 to September 16, 1986. His tenure, though brief, remained politically significant.
Meanwhile, several leaders and film personalities expressed grief over his death. They conveyed condolences and prayed for his soul.
He is survived by his family, including his son Nadendla Manohar. Manohar is currently serving as a minister in Andhra Pradesh.
His passing marks the end of a notable political chapter in the state’s history.
