The hearing was deferred after representatives of two companies named as accused failed to appear before the court.

KTR’s counsel said the foreign company that organised the Formula E race had not received the court summons.

The lawyer said a petition was filed seeking permission to serve the summons through email.

The court had returned an earlier petition filed by the defence, the lawyer said.

He added that another petition seeking issuance of summons would be filed.

Formula E Case Hearing Deferred Over Summons

The court will consider the matter again on October 30.

The case relates to alleged financial irregularities in payments made for the Formula E race held in Hyderabad in 2023.

The Telangana ACB registered a case against KTR and others over alleged irregularities in payments connected with the event.

KTR has denied wrongdoing and has said he will cooperate with the legal proceedings.

The latest adjournment allows the court to address the issue of appearance and service of summons on the accused entities.
