Four Narcotic Drug Offenders Apprehended: 5.6 Kgs Ganja Seized

Hyderabad, Nov 6 (Maxim News): The Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone, Hyderabad, in collaboration with the Tukaramgate Police, apprehended four individuals and seized 5.6 kilograms of Ganja near the Railway Track in Addagutta, Tukaramgate, Secunderabad.

The apprehended individuals Mohd Arshad Khan, aged 21, (2) Ramavath Rahul, aged 21, (3) Mohd Irshad Khan, aged 20, all residents of Backside Masjid, Gummadidala, Sangareddy District. and (4) Mohammed Mazher Ahmed aged 23, residing near Metro Gym, Bibiki-Chasma, Vattepally, Falaknuma, Hyderabad. and seized 5.6 kilograms of Ganja, A Pulser motorbike, four cell phones. 

According to Nitika Pant, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force,  said that  Arshad Khan and Ramavath Rahul traveled to Kothagudem and purchased 5.6 kilograms of Ganja from a supplier named Sukdev Sadu for Rs. 16,000. They then instructed Mohd. Irshad Khan and Mohd. Mazher Ahmed to meet them near Addagutta, Secunderabad. As the train stopped near Addagutta due to a signal, Arshad Khan and Ramavath Rahul disembarked with the Ganja and handed over a bag containing two packets of Ganja weighing approximately 3.5 kilograms to Irshad and Mazher.

However, the police were monitoring their activities and apprehended them during the operation. Arshad Khan and Ramavath Rahul were caught with Ganja weighing around 2.1 kilograms, while Irshad and Mazher were apprehended in Gummadidala, Sangareddy District, with an additional 3.5 kilograms of Ganja and a Pulser motorbike.

The arrested individuals and the seized materials have been handed over to the SHO of Tukaramgate Police Station for further legal proceedings.

This operation was carried out under the supervision of Nitika Pant, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad, and led by K. Saidulu, Inspector of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone. Supporting them were SIs B. Ashok Reddy, P. Gnanadeep, G. Naveen, and the North Zone Task Force Team in Hyderabad. (Maxim News)
