Hyderabad, July 26: Four school-going girls have gone missing from Isnapur in Sangareddy district, prompting the police to launch a search operation. The girls, all daughters of migrant workers, were studying at the Zilla Parishad High School, Isnapur.
The girls reportedly left their homes with school bags on the morning of July 23 but did not return by evening.
Concerned family members contacted the school after the girls failed to return home. Teachers informed them that the students had not attended classes that day.
The parents searched for the girls at various places before approaching the Patancheru Police Station. A missing complaint was lodged on July 25.
According to the police, the girls belong to families that migrated from Bihar. Their parents are employed in different industries in the Pashamylaram industrial area.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to trace the missing girls. Efforts are underway to gather leads and determine the circumstances surrounding their disappearance.
