Hyderabad, Dec 8 (Maxim News): The state government has given good news to women in Telangana, As per the promise given by the Congress government, women will be able to travel in buses for free from December 9, Saturday afternoon.
In the state of Telangana, girls, women and transgenders can travel in RTC buses for free. This is one of the six guarantees given by the Congress party before the Assembly elections that women will be provided free travel in RTC buses under the mahalakshmi scheme.
However, the state government issued an order on Friday (December 8) allowing free travel for women only in the Pallevelugu and express buses. (Maxim News)
