The FTCCI HR Awards were initiated by the HR Committee of FTCCI. The initiative aims to recognise best HR practices and encourage wider learning across organisations. During the event, award winning organisations shared their HR practices to support adoption across sectors. Therefore, the programme focused on both recognition and knowledge sharing within the HR community.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Gaddam Vivek Venkat Swamy stressed that resistance often follows new laws and regulations. However, he said acceptance comes with time. He recalled experiences related to his father, a former Union Labour Minister, who introduced a pension scheme for industrial workers despite strong opposition from industry. He also referred to leading a delegation as CII President to raise industry concerns, while his father stood firm on labour welfare. Later, he recalled an incident from 1986 when his father inaugurated his factory and announced a labour union on the first day.

He recalled that 115 such centres are coming up across the State to provide industry relevant training and future employment opportunities.
