Hyderabad: Gachibowli police raided an alleged gambling den at The Sky by Vihara Farm in Vattinagulapally. They caught 27 persons and seized around Rs. 10 lakh in cash.
According to police, three persons allegedly organised the gambling activity. They were identified as Chinna Yadav of BN Reddy Nagar, Sonu of Suncity and Naveen.
The trio reportedly operated a three-card gambling game at the premises for the past four months.
Preliminary enquiries estimated daily transactions at the venue at around Rs. 20 lakh. The organisers allegedly collected commissions from participants.
Police Investigate Gambling Network
Police seized approximately Rs. 10 lakh from those present during the raid.
Further investigation is underway to establish the roles of those involved and examine the alleged gambling operations.
