Gandra slams CM over delay on cabinet expansion

Hyderabad, Jan.20 (Maxim News): Congress MLA Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy today accosted the State government over the inordinate delay in the formation of full cabinet in the State.

Taking part in the discussion on thanksgiving to Governor’s Speech in the House, Raja Singh alleged that governance in the State has come to a grinding halt in the State due to the absence of full cabinet in the State. He also alleged that the Governor’s address reflected political speech of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. He demanded that the State government give clarity on the farm loan waiver scheme. He said it would be better if the loan waiver was done in a single go.

Raising the issue of double bed room house scheme, the BJP leader said inordinate delay in the construction of the houses left the homeless people disappointed. He also said several applications relating to Rythu Bheema scheme were still pending in the State. Gandra said the chilli farmers from Warangal and Khammam districts were not able to get remunerative prices. He also demanded that the State government announce the date for the implementation of the enhanced pensions in the State. (Maxim News)
