Gaza City As A War Zone: Israel Bans Distribution Of Humanitarian Aid

Gaza/Internet/Hyderabad, Aug 29 (Maxim News):  The Israeli army has declared Gaza City a warzone.  It has also banned the distribution of humanitarian aid in the city.  This will further aggravate the plight of thousands of people in the city who are already starving.  The army said in a post shared on social media that the strategic ban on military operations in Gaza City will no longer apply.  The area has been declared a dangerous war zone.  The Israeli army, the IDF, said that local strategic blocks will remain in place in the rest of the area except for Gaza City.  The IDF said that they will carry out offensive operations against terrorist groups in Gaza to protect Israeli civilians.

In this order, the Israeli army is believed to be preparing to occupy Gaza City.  Half of the million population in Gaza has taken refuge.  The Global Hunger Monitor said tht Gaza City and the surrounding areas are now officially facing famine.  it said that it is likely to increase further.

According to the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification system, 514,000 people are affected by famine.  This number is expected to increase to 641,000 by the end of September.  However, Israel rejected the report.  It said that the estimates were wrong.  The report was completely biased.  Israel argues that the survey took only incomplete information.  It alleged that it came mostly from Hamas and that it did not mention the recent arrival of food grains to Gaza.  (Maxim News)
