Hyderabad, Feb 25 (Maxim News): The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials has taken an awareness campaign among the school students for taking up the safety and preventive measures against dog bites.
The students and teachers of government schools of Moosapet, Gajularamaram, and Serilimgampally were some GHMC circles where school students were briefed and alerted in the wake of stray dog attacks. Students and teachers in government schools are being made aware of what precautions to take in case of stray dog attacks. Pamphlets on measures to be adopted to prevent street dog attacks were also distributed to schools.
As per the instructions given, the GHMC officials asked the student not to react to stray dogs until approached, and avoid them as much as possible, For an approaching dog, we must have an object to face between us, Do not make loud noises at stray dogs, a mother with children should never go near a dog, be friendly with stray dogs without touching them, Stray dogs in a pack should be avoided as much as possible, do not disturb the eating and sleeping stray dogs.
