GHMC Chief Asks Citizens To Verify Their Details In Revised Voter Lists

Hyderabad, Dec.19 (Maxim News): GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar today held a meeting with all political parties on the Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls 2020, in all the 15 Assembly constituencies.

On publication of Draft Electoral rolls, the Commissioner requested the representatives of political parties to motivate the citizens to verity their names, age, address and so on and also to encourage the eligible voters, who have not yet registered their names to do so. He also requested them to bring suggestions if any before the officials in rectifying the electoral rolls.

The Commissioner instructed the officials to conduct a meeting with political parties on December 20 and give details of Draft Electoral Rolls and maps to them. He also said a special campaign day will be conducted at the polling booths and the voters can file their claims and objections for preparations error- free final photo electoral rolls from December 16 to January 15, 2020.

They can also verify their names in the Draft Electoral rolls available in the ERO Offices or ECI/ CEO online websites www.ceotelangana.nic.in and submit their claims and objections. If any abnormal number if voters were found in a particular household, it will be verified again. This yearsome 54,000 persons enrolled as new voters.
