Hyderabad, March 29: KTR Harish Rao Rift Revanth Reddy Assembly remarks triggered sharp exchanges during the Telangana Assembly budget session. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy alleged differences between K T Rama Rao and T Harish Rao.
He said BJP leaders often make strong claims. However, he alleged they later avoid responsibility. He cited statements by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah on the Kaleshwaram issue.
He said BJP leaders promised quick arrests if a CBI probe began. Yet, he said no action followed the probe demand.
KTR And Party Leaders Protest At Gun Park
BRS members protested over the Raghava Constructions issue. They demanded a House Committee probe. They also sought Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy removal.
Meanwhile, Kamareddy MLA Katipally Ramana Reddy said repeated disruptions waste Assembly time. Therefore, he asked the government to order a House Committee probe.
Revanth Reddy said the state trusted BJP words on a CBI probe. However, he said months passed without visible progress.
He also alleged BRS and BJP cooperated in several elections. According to him, both parties shared votes and seats.
The Chief Minister also made allegations about land transfers in Balanagar of Mahabubnagar district. He said relatives of Harish Rao threatened private industry owners.
He alleged they used Dharani records to transfer large land parcels. He said the government stands ready for a House Committee probe. He asked Harish Rao to clarify his position.
Revanth Reddy said Ponguleti sought a collector report on Balanagar lands. He alleged Harish Rao later sought the minister support. However, he claimed the minister refused.
Therefore, he alleged Harish Rao began targeting Ponguleti after that refusal.
The Chief Minister said the Assembly earlier allowed debate on mining issues. After the debate, he said the government ordered a CB CID probe from June 2 2024.
He alleged the probe order led to differences among KTR Harish Rao and Santosh Rao. He claimed KTR blamed Harish Rao for legal risks.
Revanth Reddy urged BRS leaders to accept a House Committee if they trust Harish Rao integrity.
