GHMC Commissioner Inspects KBR Park Voter Enrollment Center

Hyderabad, Aug 18 (Maxim News): Hyderabad District Election Officer, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose has asked the city residents to make use of this opportunity as the Central Election Commission has given an opportunity to correct errors in the voter list and to register those whose name is not in the voter list. The voter enrollment campaign center set up at KBR Park was inspected on Friday.

On this occasion, the walkers who were walking in the park were asked. He said that if you have a vote, you can edit it if there are any mistakes. First, the commissioner asked you to download the voter helpline app through the ECI website https://voters.eci.gov.in/ and after checking it, if you notice any mistakes, you can correct them either through the said-mentioned ECI website through Form-8 or through the voter helpline. A woman walker who was walking on the spot downloaded the voter helpline app and checked it.

On this occasion, the Commissioner explained that those who have completed 18 years of age by October 31 can register as early voters. He said that a special campaign of voter enrollment is being conducted with the intention of having an error-free voter list and enrolling all the eligible people in the voter list. He said that along with awareness for enrollment in major parks, theme parks, bus stands, and railway stations in the city, they will explain how to complete Form-8 and Form-6 applications.

  • The Commissioner explained the errors in the voter list to be corrected. 
  • Where names of family members are in different polling stations
  • Miss match photos (replace men’s photo with women’s photo, and vice versa)
  • Irregular photographs in voter list (Aadhaar card, SSC certificate, ration card, upside down photograph, blurred photographs, etc.)
  • Correct door number, address, spelling mistakes in name, date of birth, and relationship of family members (mother, father, wife, husband, son, daughter,) name in case of mistakes in the voter list
  • Updating their mobile number in the voter list
  • Even if you have EPIC, if your name is not on the current voter list, you can immediately apply through Form-6.
  • You also have the facility to link your Aadhaar number with Voter List through Form-6B.
  • In case of registration in constituencies other than your constituency

If all the errors mentioned above are noticed, once again through the website https://voters.eci.gov.in/ or through the voter helpline app through Form-8 for correction, those whose name is not on the voter list should register the voter through Form-6, the District Election Officer. , GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose said.
