Hyderabad, August 24 (Maxim News): GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan inspected the ongoing Special Intensive Revision notice distribution at CIB Quarters in AC Guards on Sunday.
The inspection took place at Polling Station No. 1 under the Nampally Assembly Constituency. Karnan reviewed the progress of the field level exercise and assessed the work being carried out by election staff.
During the visit, the Commissioner interacted with Booth Level Officers, the BLO Supervisor, Assistant Electoral Registration Officer and Electoral Registration Officer.
He directed the officials to distribute SIR notices systematically among electors. He also asked them to explain the purpose of the notices clearly to voters.
The officials must also assist electors with the required process, he said. Karnan stressed the need for proper coordination among all field level teams.

Karnan also interacted with residents during the inspection. He explained the importance of the SIR exercise and urged voters to carefully verify the details mentioned in their notices.
He advised electors to submit the required information and supporting documents within the prescribed timeline. Voters can approach their concerned BLOs if they need clarification or assistance.
The Commissioner asked election staff to respond promptly to public queries. He also directed officials to make every effort to help eligible citizens complete the SIR process without difficulty.
The inspection focused on the ground level implementation of the revision exercise. It also aimed to identify any difficulties faced by voters or election staff during notice distribution.
Karnan emphasised that effective coordination among BLOs, supervisors and electoral registration officials remains important for the smooth completion of the exercise.
The GHMC Commissioner further instructed field officials to maintain clarity while communicating with voters. Officials must ensure that electors understand the purpose of the notices and the steps required from them.
The SIR exercise involves field level interaction between election officials and voters. Therefore, timely assistance can help reduce confusion and ensure that eligible electors complete the required formalities.
