Hyderabad, August 25: GHMC Commissioner and Hyderabad District Election Officer RV Karnan on Monday inspected the distribution of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) notices at CIB Quarters in AC Guards under the Nampally Assembly constituency.
Karnan reviewed the progress of the field exercise and interacted with officials involved in the voter revision process.
Karnan Directs Officials to Ensure Smooth SIR Process
During the inspection, Karnan interacted with Booth-Level Officers (BLOs), BLO supervisors, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers and Electoral Registration Officers.
He instructed officials to ensure the systematic distribution of SIR notices and clearly explain their purpose to electors.
Officials were also directed to assist voters with the required procedures and address their queries promptly.
Karnan interacted with residents and explained the importance of the SIR exercise in ensuring that eligible citizens complete the verification process properly.
Voters Asked to Verify Details and Submit Documents
Karnan advised electors to carefully check the details mentioned in their SIR notices.
He asked voters to submit the required documents and information within the prescribed timeline.
Electors requiring clarification or assistance with forms and supporting documents were advised to approach their respective BLOs.

The Hyderabad DEO also stressed the importance of coordination among election officials during the field exercise.
He directed officials to resolve public queries promptly and ensure that eligible citizens can complete the SIR process without difficulty.
