GHMC Elections Should Be Held With EVMs: BJP

Hyderabad, Sept.29 (Maxim News): The opposition BJP today demanded the state government to hold the upcoming GHMC elections with the help of EVMs. The MLC of the Party N.Ramachandra Rao said that submitted a representation to the state government on the issue.

Speaking on the occasion later Rao alleged that rival TRS and MIM parties had been demanding the state government to hold the elections with the help The ballot papers as they were scared od losing the elections.. he doubted that there was scope to rig the elections if they were held in ballot paper mode. He said that the proposal to hold the elections in the EVMs was senseless in Hyderabad, which is renowned as the IT city of the country. (Maxim News)
