#GHMCElections2020: Polling Stopped In Old Malakpet

Hyderabad: Tension escalated in Old Malakpet, Hyderabad on Tuesday and GHMC elections stopped due to discrepancies. According to the reports, repolling will be conducted in the 26th division on Thursday. It is learnt that CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy alleged that the party symbol was misplaced and replaced with another party symbol on the ballot paper.

He asked the necessary action should be taken against the officials who did this. He demanded to stop the polling. A scuffle took place between MIM and CPI activists after polling stopped and heavy police force deployed in the area.
