Delhi/Hyderabad, Feb 20 (Maxim News): State IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu said that they are working towards making Telangana an Artificial intelligence (AI) hub in the world. He said that security in the AI sector is not seen as an obstacle to innovation, but as the ‘aerodynamics’ of the 21st century. He participated and spoke at the ‘AI Impact Summit-2026’ being held in Delhi on Thursday.
On this occasion, representatives of global strategic advisory firms like Digital Governance Advisory, Albright Stonebridge Group (DGAAAG) and experts from AI Safety Connect companies addressed the gathering. They stated that Telangana’s goal is to become a $1 trillion economy by 2035 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047 by becoming the world’s leading AI hub.
Minister Sridhar Babu said that the Telangana government is taking AI technology to the field level with sustainability as a major growth. He said that not only infrastructure, but also ‘AI City’ is being developed as the first net-zero city in the country, ‘Bharat Future City’ in an area of 765 square kilometers. He explained that the country’s first AI hub ‘A1Com’ (A1Com) has been set up.
He announced that by 2027, over 300 government services will be provided to 4 crore citizens through the Integrated Digital Services Platform (IDSP). He said that from the revival of the Musi River to the classrooms of the Young india Skills university, an investment of $15 billion is being made for the future. The Minister clarified that technology is like the air we breathe, it is urgent, invisible and above all, we are working for a future that is safe. (Maxim News)
