Similarly, 22-carat gold is priced at ₹8,237.3 per gram, down by ₹110. Over the past week, 24-carat gold prices have fallen by 1.0%, while in the last month, they have dropped by 1.6%.

Silver Prices See a Minor Decline

Silver prices have also dipped slightly. The current silver rate in India is ₹106,100 per kg, marking a ₹100 decrease per kg from yesterday’s rate.

Gold Rates in South Indian Cities

Gold prices vary across different cities in South India. In Chennai, the price today is ₹89,691 per 10 grams, increasing from ₹88,611 yesterday ₹87,721 last week.

In Bangalore, gold is priced at ₹89,685 per 10 grams, up from ₹88,605 yesterday and ₹87,715 a week ago.

Hyderabad sees a similar trend, with gold now at ₹89,699 per 10 grams, compared to ₹88,619 yesterday and ₹87,729 last week.

In Visakhapatnam, the gold rate stands at ₹89,707 per 10 grams, rising from ₹88,627 yesterday and ₹87,737 last week.

Meanwhile, in Vijayawada, gold costs ₹89,705 per 10 grams, increasing from ₹88,625 yesterday and ₹87,735 a week ago.

Silver Rates in South Indian Cities

In Bangalore, silver stands at ₹105,100 per kg, compared to ₹103,200 yesterday and ₹101,100 last week.

Hyderabad has the highest silver rate among these cities, at ₹115,300 per kg, rising from ₹113,400 yesterday and ₹111,300 last week.

In Visakhapatnam, silver is currently ₹113,700 per kg, increasing from ₹111,800 yesterday and ₹109,700 last week.

Vijayawada has the highest silver price today, at ₹116,100 per kg, up from ₹114,200 yesterday and ₹112,100 last week.
