Governor Expressed Grief Over Malakpet Hospital Incident

Hyderabad, Jan 15 (Maxim News): Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan expressed grief over the Malakpet hospital incident. It is sad that two infants died in Malakpet hospital. He pointed out that four women had died during family planning surgeries in the past.

Interacting with the media persons, on the occasion of the Sankranti festival, at Raj Bhavan today, the Governor said as a gynecologist, she had many questions, she suggested further improving the facilities in the medical sector in accordance with the population of the state. The state government should take steps in that direction.

Answering the question on the pending bill, the Governor said that the bills sent by the government are not pending, they are under consideration. All aspects need to be considered. She said that her intention is not to delay appointments due to disputes. She said that the Courts had objected to this type of policy in the past.

The Governor said that UGC has mentioned some aspects. She wants to ensure that there are no legal complications. On this occasion, she wished Sankranti to the people of the state, she wished the people of Telangana to be happy. (Maxim News)
