Govt Extending All Help To Professional Communities: Minister
Hyderabad, Dec.7 (Maxim News): Excise & Tourism Minister V Srinivas Goud today said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has been offering necessary help to professional communities, including Gouds, Yadavas, fishermen and others.
Participating in a program in Ravindra Bharti here, the minister said the KCR Government has revived with funds the professional communities. He distributed cheques to the beneficiaries of Goud community on the occasion. “Unlike the previous Congress government that neglected Gouds and other professional commnities, the KCR Government was striving for the uplift of these poverty-stricken communities. He also said the TRS government has revived caste and community-based professions in the State in a big way.
The minister also said to make the State free from cheap liquor, the government took necessary measures. He said some 109 families relying on cheap liquor sale were rehabilitated in Keshampet mandal of Ranga Reddy district besides some families in Dhoolpet in the Old city with all help”, he said. He pointed out that the State government revived the communities like fishermen and Yadavas by special programs by offering fish seed and sheep units among Yadavas. He also pointed out that the KCR government was giving Rs 5 lakh towards insurance amount to the kin of deceased toddy tappers. He also said the government was extending all support to toddy tappers to grow trees for their livelihood. (Maxim News)
