The governor of the state praised state government for extending its helping hand during the last year’s nation wide lockdown
Hyderabad, Jan.26 (Maxim News): The governor of the state today heaped praises on the state government for extending its helping hand during the last year’s nation wide lockdown. In her Republic Day address, she said that the state government had distributed 12 kgs. of rice and extended a financial help of ₹1,500 per month to each poor family who lost their livelihoods during the lockdown. She also said that Free meals were served through Annapurna canteens by the state government and added that Special trains were arranged for the migrant workers to drop them at their native places.
Tamilisai said that the state government had incurred a huge revenue loss of ₹52,000 crore due to the disruption of activities caused by the pandemic and added that state government continued all its welfare and social security schemes for the benefit of the poor Despite the steep fall in its revenue.(Maxim News)
