Hyderabad, June 2 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy that the government is making plans to make Hyderabad a match for the cities of the world. We are undertaking the Musi Revival Project to bring back the former glory of the Musi River. We have decided to make Bapughat an International Gandhi Sarovar. We have prepared plans to build a future city with international standards. We are going to develop the future city on 30 thousand acres. We will set up AI City, Sports City, Pharma City as well as Life Sciences and health Cities. For this, we have set up a Future City Development Authority.
The Chief Minister said that the government has taken steps to increase the number of airports as part of the infrastructure in the state. We have already obtained all the permissions for the renovation of Mamunur Airport.
With the aim of developing Hyderabad city, we have undertaken the construction of the Regional Ring Road at a cost of about Rs. 18 thousand crores. We are going to build radial roads from the Regional Ring Road to the Outer Ring Road, along with regional rail, we are expanding the metro rail. In line with future needs, we are undertaking the second phase of the metro rail expansion project at a cost of Rs. 24,000 crore.
An Iron Fist On Drugs
Revanth Reddy said that the government has further strengthened the police department to maintain law and order. We have taken steps to crack down on drugs. According to the India Justice Report-2025, Telangana Police has become number one in the country. Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement division has received an international award in Dubai. This is a matter of great pride for us.
We stand in support of the country’s defence and integrity, beyond politics. The declaration of support to our army and the central government in the Pahalgam attack incident is proof of this.
We have organized the ‘Bharat Summit’ program with great prestige under the auspices of the Telangana state government. Through this program, we have turned Hyderabad into an international platform.
About 450 representatives from more than 100 countries around the world participated in this summit. We brought Telangana Rising to the attention of the world as a platform for the Bharat Summit. We hosted the Miss World pageant, which is held with great prestige all over the world.
More than a hundred countries came to Hyderabad to participate in the 72nd Miss World pageant. “Telangana is a must.” They all visited the historical monuments and tourist places of Telangana and spread the historical glory of Telangana to the four corners of the world.
