Govt Issues Orders For RTC Rental Buses To Women’s Groups  

Hyderabad, Mar 4 (Maxim News): The Telangana government has taken a key decision on RTC rental buses. The government issued orders on Tuesday (March 4, 2025) allocating RTC rental buses to women’s groupsThe government clarified in these orders that buses are being allocated to 150 women’s groups in the first phase. The government said that 450 RTC rental buses would be allocated to the remaining groups soon.

The Revanth Sarkar has decided to provide a bank guarantee for the purchase of buses. TGSRTC will pay a rent of Rs. 77,220 for each bus, It is noteworthy that for the first time in our country, RTC buses will be allocated for women’s groups. In the first phase, RTC buses will be allocated for women’s groups in two districts on an experimental basis.

CM Revanth Reddy‘s name district Mahabubnagar and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar‘s home district Karimnagar have been selected. The government has decided to purchase 150 buses through women’s groups in the first phase. A special system will be set up for their maintenance responsibilities.

The officials have prepared a comprehensive report, including the cost of purchasing RTC buses, the income generated, the maintenance cost, etc., and submitted it to the government. The final decision has been taken as per the government’s orders. There is a demand to increase the number of buses across the state. In this regard, the RTC has decided to provide employment to women’s groups and hire the buses they purchase. (Maxim News)
