Hyderabad, Sept.21 (Maxim News): Minister for Forests & Environment, and Law Indrakaran Reddy informed the Assembly that there was no proposal, either from the Government or from the High Court to shift the court to another location. The State Government on Saturday scotched reports of plans to shift the Telangana High Court from its current location in the Old City of Hyderabad.
Responding to a query from AIMIM’s Kausar Mohiuddin, who wanted to know if some reports doing the rounds that the High Court was being shifted were true, Indrakaran said, “Our party was against shifting the High Court. The previous governments have shifted the offices of Municipal Commissioner and Police Commissionerate from the Old City and any plans to shift the High Court should be dropped,” he said.
