Govt will purchase every seed from farmers : Niranjan Reddy

Hyderabad, Nov.3 (Maxim News): Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy today stated that the government will procure all produce and every seed from the farmers. The minister instructed that the officials should avoid causing inconvenience to the farmers while procuring their produce and avoid delay.

Niranjan Reddy addressed a meeting at Wanaparthy with officials and farmers. There is no need of delaying the procurement and the farmers should avoid worry on the same, he advised. The farmers can get MSP to their produce as the officials were asked to take every seed from them, he said.

The Minister informed that chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is helping the farmers. We have grown record crops and got a golden harvest due to better irrigation facilities, he claimed.

The minister attributed the significant increase in crops to the projects’ completion. KCR has completed the irrigation projects to ensure more cultivation and more benefits for the farmers.

He said that the chief minister has vision and commitment and directed to procure every seed from the farmers. The farmers should avoid worry as the officials of agriculture and purchasing should coordinate to avoid delay, he instructed.

The minister maintained that all arrangements have been made for more storage in the state. All districts got their due storage capacity, he said.

We have set up an adequate number of purchase centers in villages and mandals for the purpose he claimed. There is no need for panic among the farmers who can sell off their produce, the minister said. (Maxim News)
