Grow Crops Which Have Demand in Market: Niranjan Reddy
Hyderabad, June 16 (Maxim News): Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy today instructed the farmers to grow crops which have demand in the market.
The minister said that the government offers support for the farmers to some commercial crops or those with huge demand. Crops like cotton, red gram, dals, cereals, oil and such varieties to be sown to get benefits, Niranjan Reddy said.
The minister informed that Rythu Bandhu funds are being offered to the farmers in time. The officials concerned are depositing the funds into the accounts of the farmers. Despite lockdown crisis and revenue loss the KCR Government offers help and made necessary arrangements.
He said that the Rythu Bandhu funds be offered till June 25 to all eligible farmers in Telangana state. Reddy informed that on the second day the officials gave Rs 1152.46 cr money to 15.07 lakh farmers he said. In two days Rs 1669.42 Cr deposited into the bank accounts of the farmers. On third day Rs 1272.85 Cr for 10.40 lakh farmers he said. In three days Rs 2942.47 Cr to be given benefitting 42.43 lakh farmers for 58.85 lakh acres. (Maxim News)
