Gudur Demands Unconditional Apology From VH
Former Treasurer of TPCC Gudur Narayana Reddy, who recently joined BJP, demanded unconditional apology from Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao. If Hanumantha Rao did not tender apology he would be sued in the court of law.
In a statement, on Wednesday, he demanded the Congress leader to withdraw the complaint given in the police station against him. He said if Hanumantha Rao did not apologise and withdraw the case from the police station within 24 hours, he would file a defamation case, to the tune of Rs 50 crores, on him in the court.
Congress leader Hanumantha Rao has made complaint in a police station that Gudur Narayana Reddy has not submitted the details of accounts of the funds of Congress party.
Narayana Reddy said that the audit would be held every year on the expenditure of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee. He said that the financial statements were available in Gandhi Bhavan, the headquarters of TPCC.
Narayana Reddy made it clear that Hanumantha Rao has no locus standi to question him on the financial matters of Congress. He criticized that the Congress leader has made baseless allegations to tarnish his image.
The former Treasurer of TPCC said that he has spent huge amounts in the past five years for the Congress from his own pocket. Narayana Reddy said that he was a regular payee of income tax every year and he pays huge sums as IT to the government.
