Hague-India Cyber Security Summer School From June 3 To 7

Hyderabad, May 30 (Maxim News): NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, takes immense pleasure in announcing that we are conducting the 2nd Edition of the Hague India Cyber Security Summer School, which is a Government of Telangana Initiative and is being organised jointly by “Hyderabad Security Cluster” and Europe’s largest Cyber Security Cluster called the “Hague Security Delta”.

Cybersecurity is too often thought of as merely a technological issue, when in reality fighting cyber threats requires a broad-based approach that includes law, economics, international relations and many other disciplines as well. From the growing threats of cyber attacks to a lack of practitioners qualified to handle cyber-related issues, it is found that cyber security for legal professionals is an area ripe for future growth and points to the need to educate and train both current and future attorneys. Hyderabad Security Cluster (HSC) is a critical and influential collaboration that follows the ‘TRIPLE HELIX MODEL’ of academia, industry and Government partnership, HSC brings together security agencies of national and international importance, governments, research and knowledge institutions, cyber security businesses and all relevant stakeholders onto one platform.

In continuation to the last Summer School that was hosted on July 9 – 13, 2018 and the success achieved, HSC & HSD is organizing the 2nd Edition of The Hague India Cyber Security Summer School from June 3 -7. The Summer School will take place in both The Hague and India — in the cities of Hyderabad and Bangalore. Partners such as NALSAR University of Law, the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, Engineering Staff College of India, Hyderabad Security Cluster, Verizon, Symantec, Checkpoint, E2Labs, TU Delft, The Hague Security Delta, the Municipality of The Hague, and The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies will facilitate the exchange of knowledge between these two countries leading the way in cyber security.

The Summer School’s five-day program will enlighten the participants on the cutting edge cyber security developments and allow participants to gain deeper knowledge and understanding of cyber security concepts and aspects. (Maxim News)
