Hajj 2026 Qurrah Scheduled for August 13, 2025
Hajj 2026 Qurrah | Hyderabad, August 12 (Maxim News): The Haj Committee of India has announced that the Digital Randomized Selection (DRS), commonly known as Qurrah, for Hajj 2026 will take place on August 13, 2025, at 11:30 AM.
This draw will determine which applicants are chosen to perform the pilgrimage next year, as per a recent circular issued by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
The DRS is a transparent, digital lottery system designed to fairly select successful applicants from the eligible pool. Conducted under the supervision of the Haj Committee of India, operating under the Ministry of Minority Affairs, the process ensures impartiality in applicant selection.
The list of provisionally selected and waitlisted applicants will be published on the Haj Committee of India’s official website, and applicants will also receive notifications via SMS.
Hajj 2026 Qurrah
While the draw will be conducted digitally, it is expected to take place through an online or centralized system accessible to relevant officials and stakeholders.
Following the Qurrah, those provisionally selected must pay an advance deposit by August 20, 2025, as outlined in the ministry’s circular, to confirm their participation in Hajj 2026.

- Net Percentage Of Hajj Application Forms Received By Hajj Committee Of India As Against The 2026 Net Hajj Quota After Deductions = 160 %
- 2026 Private Tour Operator’s Hajj Quota = 52,507
In Telangana, the selection event will be presided over by Chairman Syed Ghulam Afzal Biyabani Khusro Pasha, with Executive Officer Sajjad Ali and other officials present to oversee the proceedings.
This systematic and fair selection process ensures that deserving applicants get an opportunity to undertake the sacred pilgrimage of Hajj in 2026. (Maxim News)
