Hanumantha Rao demands Govt to make OBC Census public
Hyderabad, Aug.27 (Maxim News): Veteran leader of Congress Party V. Hanumantha Rao today demanded the state government to make public the census of data of OBCs of the state . He asked the state government as to why it was not making the data of the OBCs public.
Speaking to media persons, he said that he had questioned the state and the central government over the issue of the implementation of creamy layer policy only for the OBCs of country. Referring to the Intensive Household Survey (IHS) of the state government, he said that the survey had stated that the state has 54 percent of the OBCs and added that the state government had not made the details public officially.
Referring to a resolution passed by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on community wise census, he demanded CM KCR to do a similar a resolution in Telangana. Referring to the news reports about the implementation of BC bandhu scheme, he said that the data of the OBCs was needed to implement the BC bandhu scheme. (Maxim News)
