Harish Exhorts Party Leaders To Work For Victory In Municipal Polls

Hyderabad, Jan.5 (Maxim News): Ahead of municipal polls, Finance Minister T Harish Rao today said that those who won’t get tickets will be given nominated posts.

Addressing a TRS preparatory meeting for the polls in Patancheruvu area here, the minister said that all the leaders and activists should work together for the party’s victory. He said that the TRS will select candidates who enjoy public support and win the polls. However those who didn’t get tickets need not worry, as they may get nominated posts, he said.

Surveys conducted reveal victory for the ruling party, Harish said. Still we cannot remain inactive in the polls. We have to coordinate and win all the seats, the minister said, and asked the party leaders at all levels to take up wide campaign on welfare schemes and development programs to people.

Make door to door campaign for the TRS candidates victory, he said. Harish asked them to work hard like servants in the wards to win the polls. Make a visit to every house hold and urge voters to support the TRS candidates, he added.(Maxim News)
