Hyderabad, August 19: Former Telangana minister T Harish Rao was placed under house arrest at his Kokapet residence on Wednesday.
Police deployed a large number of personnel outside his home. They also took former ministers Sabitha Indra Reddy and Talasani Srinivas Yadav into preventive custody.
The police action followed Harish Rao’s call to visit Sanath Nagar TIMS Hospital. BRS leaders had planned to visit the hospital, but police stopped them.
