“Haritha Haram” Conducted In Police Learning Centre At Goshamahal
Hyderabad, Aug.3 (Maxim News): As part of “Haritha Haaram” program, Koleti Damodar, Chairman of Telangana State Police Housing Corporation, visited Hyderabad City Police Learning Centre at Goshamahal and participated in the program as chief guest.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Koleti impressed upon the need of the society for planting saplings to increase the green cover. He also exhorted police personnel to utilize the open spaces in the Police stations, Battalions and other police campuses to plant saplings during the monsoon season.
Participating in the program, City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, IPS, reminded the police personnel that due to sustained efforts of the State government to increase green cover, the tiger population has increased and gave a call to the society to take tree plantation in a big way.
T. Muralikrishna, IPS, Addl CP, A.R. Srinivas, IPS, Jt. CP, HAC DCP West Zone, Vishwa Prasad, IPS, Jt. CP, HAC DCP Central Zone and Mirza Riyaz Baig, Addl DCP/Principal of Learning Centre also planted saplings. The program was organized under the aegis of the Principal and staff of Hyderabad City Police Learning Centre, Goshamahal. (Maxim News)
