HC Takes Hearing On Flood Damage And Compensation
Hyderabad, Aug 4 (Maxim News): The High Court of Telangana has taken up a hearing on the issue of flood damage and compensation in Telangana state.
The Telangana Government has asked the High Court for two more days to submit a comprehensive report on the flood damage. The petitioner sought an order for immediate compensation and relief measures for the flood-affected victims. The High Court expressed dissatisfaction with the reply of the government and informed that the order will be issued after examining the government’s report.
The High Court adjourned the further hearing to Monday (August 7). Earlier, the Court expressed dissatisfaction with the delay in submitting the report by the government, and the Chief Justice asked why it was taking time to submit the report. (Maxim News)
