Hyderabad, April 22: K T Rama Rao said the HC verdict was a tight slap on the Congress government after the High Court stayed the Justice PC Ghose Commission report.
He claimed the order exposed alleged political misuse of institutions. Moreover, he said it validated concerns raised earlier by K Chandrashekhar Rao.
Rama Rao said the court barred action based on the report. Therefore, he argued that it halted what he called political vendetta.
He alleged that the report was politically motivated. He also said it violated principles of natural justice.
Furthermore, he accused the government of neglecting the Kaleshwaram Project. He urged immediate repairs to the Medigadda barrage.
He asked Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to apologise to farmers. He said the project is vital for the state’s irrigation needs.
Rama Rao also warned against compromising Telangana’s share in Godavari river waters. He called the project a lifeline for farmers.
He urged the government to focus on irrigation and farmer welfare. Additionally, he said BRS will continue to support farmers’ concerns.
