Heavy Rain Alert for Telangana, 5 Districts at Risk
Heavy Rain Alert | Hyderabad, August 26: Heavy rains are likely in Telangana on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the Meteorological Department.
Officials said a surface depression in the northwest Bay of Bengal may turn into a low-pressure area within 24 hours. Moreover, the monsoon trough continues, increasing the chance of widespread rainfall.
As a result, heavy rain will impact Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jayashankar Bhupalpalli, Mahabubabad, Mulugu, and Warangal districts. Other districts may see moderate rain with gusty winds of 30–40 kmph, along with thunder and lightning.
Meanwhile, temperatures have risen slightly after five days of reduced rainfall.
