Hyderabad, July 23, 2025 (Maxim News): The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has issued a heavy rainfall alert for Telangana for today and tomorrow, forecasting widespread showers due to the influence of Eastern and Western Troughs. Residents across several districts have been advised to remain cautious as orange and yellow warnings have been issued.
According to officials, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts. An orange warning, which indicates the possibility of intense rainfall that could disrupt normal life, has been issued for these areas.

Additionally, a yellow warning, suggesting the potential for heavy rainfall, has been issued for the following districts: Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Siddipet, Hanumakonda, Warangal, Janagama, Mahabubabad, Khammam, Vikarabad, and Mahabubnagar.
In Hyderabad and nearby regions, the weather will remain cloudy with light to moderate rain, accompanied by occasional heavy spells in isolated areas. Commuters and residents are advised to avoid unnecessary travel, especially in low-lying and waterlogging-prone areas.
The Meteorological Department has urged the public to stay updated through official channels and follow safety protocols during the rainy spell.
