Heavy Rains For More Three Days: IMD Issued Red Alert
Hyderabad, July 25 (Maxim News): The Indian Meteorological Department, Hyderabad has warned that heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur across Telangana in the next three days. Red Alert has been issued to the respective districts.
It said that the low pressure is likely to turn into a cyclone in the next 24 hours. The effect of this is that there are chances of heavy rains across the state. From Wednesday to Thursday morning, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, and Vikarabad are likely to receive very heavy rains. A red alert has been issued for the respective districts. An orange alert has been issued for many districts of Manchiryala, Nizamabad, Nirmal, Jagtyala, Rajanna Sirisilla, Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Kothagudem, Hanmakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, , Bhuavanagiri, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar districts, where there are indications of heavy to very heavy rains
A red alert has been issued for the districts of Nizamabad, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak, and Kamareddy from Thursday to Friday morning. The Meteorological department has issued an orange and yellow alert for the rest of the districts. Meanwhile, Nizamabad, Warangal, Janagaon, Hanmakonda, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Peddapalli, Siddipet, and many other districts have received heavy rainfall till this morning. (Maxim News)
