Heavy to Very Heavy Rains Forecast, Orange Warning for Adilabad and Komaram Bheem
Hyderabad, July 26 (Maxim News): The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has issued a fresh heavy rains warning across several parts of Telangana, predicting intense downpours in the next 24 hours. An orange alert has been sounded for Adilabad and Komaram Bheem Asifabad districts, where very heavy rainfall is expected today.
According to the Met Department, the weather conditions are influenced by an active monsoon trough and upper air cyclonic circulation, creating favorable conditions for widespread rainfall in the region.
Yellow Alert for Multiple Districts
Apart from the orange alert zones, a yellow alert—indicating potential heavy rainfall—has been issued for the districts of:
- Nirmal
- Nizamabad
- Jagtial
- Mancherial
- Peddapalli
- Jayashankar Bhupalpally
- Mulugu

Residents in these districts are advised to stay alert and avoid low-lying or waterlogged areas. Commuters should plan travel carefully and stay updated on local advisories.
Gusty Winds and Moderate Showers Elsewhere
The Met Centre also forecast light to moderate rainfall for the rest of the state, accompanied by gusty winds with speeds of 30 to 40 km/h. These winds may cause tree branches to fall and lead to temporary power outages in some areas.
Precautionary Measures Urged
Authorities are urging the public to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary travel in high-alert areas. Disaster management teams and local civic bodies have been put on standby to respond to any emergencies.
