High Court Okays Sharmila’s Padyatra

Telangana High Court | Hyderabad, Dec 13 (Maxim News): High Court of Telangana, has granted permission to the YSRTP President, Y. S. Sharmila to continue her padyatra and also directed the Warangal Commissioner of Police to allow the Padyatra.

Sharmila has filed the petition in the High Court stating that the police has refused permission for her padyatra and commented that politicians are made to move around the courts for seeking permission.

She said that the police are not giving permission for the Padyatra in Warangal district.

However, the police has stated in the Court that sharmila had made o objectionable remarks at Raj Bhavan.

The court questioned the police why permission was denied for the Padyatra. The Court said that it is common for political leaders to criticize each other.

With this, orders were issued allowing the Padyatra. The Court also advised Sharmila to remember the conditions given earlier. (Maxim News)
