Hyderabad, April 22 (Maxim News): TJAC President Kodandaram responded to the verdict given by the Telangana High Court regarding the Kaleshwaram project. He said that he does not understand why BRS leaders are celebrating the verdict of the High Court. He said that CAG, Vigilance and NDSA have given reports that there was corruption and there were errors in the construction of the Kaleshwaram project. He said that action can be taken based on these reports as well. The TJAC President said that if an investigation is not conducted, the investigation agencies will be at fault.
Kodandaram questioned why it was difficult to take action when it was known that something had gone wrong in Kaleshwaram. “We can see the pillars sagging during the construction of the barrage… what more do we need,” he said. Kodandaram clarified that the High Court’s verdict on Kaleshwaram was not a slap in the face to anyone. (Maxim News)
