Huge Cash Seized In Thorrur
Warangal/Hyderabad, Nov 25 (Maxim News): A huge amount of cash was seized in Thorrur of Mahabubabad district.
The Election commission personnels and the Task Force Police jointly carried out checks at the check post at thorrur Town Centre, today, the police seized about one crore rupees, which was being transported in an Innova car bearing the number Ts 09 FB1609. Officials confiscated the money after not showing proper documents related to the cash. Two people in the car have been detained and are being interrogated.
It is known that in view of Assembly elections to be held on November 30, Election Commission to be held on November 30, election officials and task force police have set up check posts across the state and are seizing the cash and gold ornaments being smuggled.
Authorities have already seized hundreds of crores of rupees without proper documents and huge amounts of gold jewelery. (Maxim News)
