Hundreds Of Dead Chicken Dumped By Unknown Miscreants In Manjeera River In Medak

Medak/Hyderabad, Mar 18 (Maxim News): Unidentified persons dumped hundreds of dead chickens in river Manjeera downstream of the Ghanpur Anicut at Yellapur bridge in Papannapet mandal.

The locals shot videos of the dead chicken floating in the river water and posted the same on social media. River Manjeera is a drinking and irrigation water source for Medak and Nizamabad districts. 

After coming to know about this, district animal husbandry officer, Venkatiah deputed his staff to examine the situation. The staff were enquiring to find out who was behind the act. The locals told the officials that they did not see any birds until Monday night. The officials concluded that the chickens were dumped in the early hours of Thursday. They were going through CCTV footage to identify the miscreants.
