Huzurabad, Oct 30: Huzurabad Bypoll | After five months of hectic political activity, Huzurabad is finally voting today.
It’s judgment day for TRS’ friend-turned-foe Eatala Rajender, now in BJP, hoping on a sympathy wave to retain his stronghold following an unceremonious exit from the pink party.
The TRS, on the other hand, is counting on the party’s strength and welfare sops to sweep aside the Eatala challenge.

District collector an election officer R V Karnan inspected the facilities at Indranagar govt school polling booth and the polling ratio Huzurabad bypoll 10.50% polling till 9am was recorded.
The issue flared up in Sriramulapalli, Ellanthakunta Mandal, Huzurabad after a heated argument took place between TRS leader and villagers on poll day.
According to the reports, villagers stopped the vehicle of TRS in charge, Gajwel market chairman Madasu Srinivas and questioned him why he visited the village during the poll.
Visitors alleged that he is luring the voters on the poll day. Later, the TRS leaders left the village. Eatala Rajender is contesting on the BJP ticket and Gellu Srinivas is contesting on the TRS party ticket. Both of them are confident in winning the elections.
Eatala Rajender, the Bharatiya Janata Party’ contestant for Huzurabad by-elections visited the polling centres on Saturday. He greeted everyone in the polling centre and inquired about the facilities in the polling centre. It’s a neck and neck fight between Eatala Rajender and TRS’s Gellu Srinivas Yadav and both the ruling TRS and BJP are expressing confidence about winning the elections.
It is known that both TRS and BJP leaders left no stone unturned during the election campaign and kept their maximum efforts to attract the voter’s attention. The poll results will be declared on November 2.
