Hyderabad: A Massive Fire Accident In Nampally, Claim Nine Lives

Hyderabad: Nine people, including four men, four women, and a child, died in a devastating apartment fire in the Nampally Bazar Ghat area of Hyderabad on Monday morning. Seven members belongs to same family.

Eight people were shifted to Osmania General Hospital (OGH) for treatment.

Fire DG said that the fire may have been caused by chemical oil used for fiber machines and air coolers. The oil was filled in 20 plus big drums, which exacerbated the fire. Police authorities have confirmed the deaths of nine people in the blaze.

The fire further started when a car unexpectedly caught fire, and the flames quickly spread to the rest of the building, trapping residents inside. Many people struggled to escape the inferno, and a palpable sense of fear gripped the area. Residents were evacuated by the fire department.

Local residents and authorities responded quickly to the incident, and AIMIM MLA Candidate Majid Hussain and corporators were present at the scene of the fire. Member of Parliament for Hyderabad and AIMIM Supremo Asaduddin Owaisi is also on his way to the location to assess the situation.

The fire originated in a residential apartment, and the presence of chemicals and diesel in the basement or ground floor intensified the blaze. The pervasive smoke claimed lives and left many residents with breathing difficulties. Urgent medical assistance is being provided, and 25 to 30 ambulances are actively transferring patients to nearby hospitals.

D7 Md. Zakeer Hussain husband 66 yr.

D8 Hasib-ur-rahman s/o D1 age 32 yr.

D9 Nikath Sultana wife of D7 age 55 yr.
