Hyderabad: A Square Yard in Gachibowli Sells for ₹2.22 Lakh!
Hyderabad, June 24: KPHB Colony – Land prices in Hyderabad continue to soar, with a commercial plot in Gachibowli, Serilingampally mandal (Rangareddy district), fetching an astonishing ₹2.22 lakh per square yard at a recent auction.
The Housing Board conducted an auction of prime plots here at KPHB Colony, attracting 53 bidders. Four plots in Gachibowli went under the hammer — all of them sold at impressive rates. A 1,487 square yard plot near the Dog Park was initially pegged at ₹1.20 lakh per square yard but ultimately fetched a whopping ₹33 crore, translating to ₹2.22 lakh per yard.
Hyderabad Real Estate Rising
Elsewhere, in Chintal (Quthbullapur mandal, Medchal district), 3 out of 10 MGI plots found buyers, generating revenue of about ₹8.11 crore.
Similarly, in Bachupalli, out of 8 plots up for grabs, 4 were sold. The highest bid in Bachupalli was for Plot F17 in B-1 Block, which went for ₹18.21 lakh.
Housing Board Commissioner Gautam announced that the government earned a total of ₹65 crore from this auction, with Gachibowli plots alone contributing ₹55.56 crore.
