Hyderabad: Army Public School Students Take Part In Swarnim Vijay Varsh Celebrations
The ‘Swarnim Vijay Varsh’ is the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Indian Armed Forces securing a decisive and historic victory over Pakistan Army that led to creation of Bangladesh in December 1971
Hyderabad: As part of ‘Swarnim Vijay Varsh’ celebrations of the Armed Forces, school students from different Army Public Schools in Hyderabad participated in a cultural programme at Ordinance Hall, AOC Centre in Secunderabad on Monday.
Students from all the three Army Public Schools including Bolarum, RK Puram and Golconda gave a mesmerizing performance and a splendid display of dance, stunts and action pact act on Indian Army.
The ‘Swarnim Vijay Varsh’ is the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Indian Armed Forces securing a decisive and historic victory over Pakistan Army that led to creation of Bangladesh in December 1971.
The cultural event was graced by Chitra Ramachandran, Special Chief Secretary, Education Department. At the culmination of the program the participating schools were felicitated by the chief guest Brigadier Sarbjit Singh, Commandant, 1 EME Centre, Brigadier JJS Bhinder, Commandant, AOC Centre, Brigadier Jaydeep Yadav, Commandant, Artillery Centre, Senior Army officials, Principals of Army Public Schools and parents of the students were also present on the occasion.
Earlier, the Victory Flame arrived at AOC Centre, Secunderabad and was received by Brigadier JJS Bhinder, Commandant at the Centre. The Swarnim Vijay Mashaal was accorded a grand reception and a wreath laying ceremony was organised at AOC War Memorial.
